From the Editor Snickerdoodles - King Cookie The Complete Cookie Experience!
I was relegated to Cookie Sales last
weekend. That is what they do, when you really are getting too old for any
important job. Nobody even asks me to scurry up the ladder and
check Christmas lites, or care for the Reindeer
Having Fun and Selling Cookies South of the
River(ok, sorry about last weeks newsletter) I have been getting less important assignments ever since I lined up half the Louisville Parade Floats on the wrong side of the school. (yep, that was me) Even hot chocolate duty, is complicated, onacounta you gotta add the chocolate mix. I was handing out plain hot water for a while. (way too thin) So, I get Cookie Duty.. Not so bad really.. I have to say, the chocolate chip is so yesterday. Really not a fashionable snack. With a properly made snickerdoodle, it is crunchy, crackly and still a little chewy in the center, remarkable! This guy snicker almost got the Nobel Cookie prize, but lost to Al Gore by a thin mint. (I just made that up) Such a festive cookie! Such a noble cookie. Completely appropriate for any Christmas celebration. Great thing about being a kid, is you can eat a bag of snickerdoodles and nobody makes you go run on the treadmill for an hour. Be extra careful this time of year onacounta the stinken Reindeer love em! Computer John Editor LouisvilleNebraska.Com mailto:ComputerJohn@LouisvilleN
