Go to: http://www.louisvillenebraska.com/discus/

We are extending the red carpet to ALL of the

You might have to wait for the image to load, but the photographic staff on location did
an excellent job capturing the excitement of our boys in uniform. If you know someone with

Library Internet Help
Today marks the second of ten sessions where help accessing and understanding the use of
the Internet is available free for anyone in Louisville. All sessions are 1:30pm - 5:00pm
Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays and are on a first come first served basis. You do not
need to have a home computer!! Part of the instruction will help you setup a free portable
email account that you can access from the library's or a friends computer. This is
important for anyone submitting a job resume, or wanting to auction their handicrafts at
Ebay, or co-respond with an old Army buddy living in Singapore. The primary goal of these
sessions is to let everybody participate in your community website without being nervous
or hesitant. This is especially important so that everyone can participate in the election
process. Any questions or topics that are appropriate for a general audience are welcome
and encouraged.

the initial thought has been sometime in October. This is LATE BREAKING NEWS!! and
remember, you heard it here first! Stay tuned as we will learn the details in subsequent
newsletters!

Editorial Mumbo Jumbo...
I can Brush my Teeth!!
By now everyone should know that the State of Nebraska has given us all the
go ahead to resume drinking water from the City water supply without boiling it. I for one
am pretty happy about that. Turns out there never was any real contamination issue, just
some good old fashioned prudence. As a prominent member of our local financial community
said to me; "Hey, what are you gonna do? A Semi hits a fire hydrant,... stuff like
that happens!" Yep, I suppose. I just could not get used to brushing without that
comforting and familiar stream of water tumbling from the faucet. It's like listening to
the radio. I can't brush my teeth without at least 2 radios on within ear shot. Anyways,
life is better with clean teeth and running water.
But I digress..
I was checking our official website Guest Book yesterday, and I noticed a truly
interesting posting:
http://louisvillenebraska.com/vbpro/guestbook/entries.html
There are several very nice and complimentary guestbook
postings we have recorded, but the one about the big fish really captured my imagination.
Okay, here they are,...... http://www.ngpc.state.ne.us/parks/lville.html
Which one is it!?!?
Having fun, and drinking water south of the
river....
