In a continuing effort to thwart counterfeiters, the Federal Government is now adding color to the face of the new $20. These new bills will start to show up during October so be on the lookout. If you have any question at any time about a suspected counterfeit bill, please bring it in and we can tell if it is real for you. Louisville

What the Cat Saw... Hi Hardware Cat Fans! Homecoming 2003 Memories.. I woke up this morning at like 10:30ish, and I was just stretching and thinking about getting ready for my morning nap, when I noticed that something was obscuring my view of Main Street! Now,,.. (Meow!), that is not cool! I have a job to do, and I take that job very seriously! I am supposed to watch all the doings up and down Main Street, in case somebody needs my advice, (or closer monitoring..), and people expect me to keep an eye on things! I watch everything. I rub up against Larry if we are running low on Mole-No-More, I Meow to Maureen if somebody is gettin thumb prints on the paint sample strips, but mostly I keep an eye on the com'ins and go'ins. All day long people come by to find out what the heck is going on. They walk right in and say things like; "How's it Going Hank!", or "Whadya Know Hank!?!", and I am expected to know! (meow!) Well, they tell me this huge purple and gold colored Paw Print on my hardware store window shows that the Lions are on the Prowl! Turns out there is a parade and a rally, and a dance, and a real big Football Game tonight and this big purple and gold smudge in the window is going to get the town all fired up to cheer on the Lions to Victory over the interlopers! .... hmmmm ... ..ya know, I would make a pretty good mascot for our Football Team! Somebody get me a helmet!! Having fun, and Growling at Chieftains south of the river....
