From the Editor A Matter of Thanksgiving This past week was absolutely delightful!
I was worried that the marshmallows were
not going to toast just right on the yams, but they ended up just perfect!
Thank Goodness!
It is darn nice to live in a Country that
officially takes a break to give thanks. I guess they could always do that
in Sudan, or Syria but then what would be the point? Here we not only get a
day to be thankful, we also have a laundry list of stuff to be thankful for!I would like to suggest something that Louisville can be especially thankful for; Leadership . None of the great things that have happened the last 10 years were an accident. Louisville has great and self-sacrificing leaders that make careful and courageous decisions, especially on critical issues like our water. You will have a chance to listen to our Leaders tonight at 7PM. In my humble opinion we should attend just to show our support. Leaders in war, make decisions to fight or retreat and lives depend on the quality and timing of those decisions. A General that puts off or is afraid to make the tough decisions is guaranteed to end up with a battalion of dead soldiers.
Water is not optional
We are currently in a panic about Gas prices
and the cost of driving our SUV.It is unfair, inconvenient, and threatens our lifestyle and our freedom. Imagine if there was suddenly a question of water. Suddenly the other stuff doesn't seem quite so important. Our City, our property, our quality of life, our future, everything changes. There are many Communities that have faced questions about their water, and have chosen to delay or to not think about it. My guess is that their future may not be as bright as ours.
When you listen to our Leaders speak
tonight
Having Fun and Having a Cold One South of
the Riverbe thankful for their Leadership and show your Support Computer John Editor LouisvilleNebraska.Com mailto:ComputerJohn@LouisvilleN
