From the Editor A Sign of the Times.. Good Bye Old Village Sign! (Click Here to See) I have to say, I have mixed feelings seeing the new City Sign going up.. I mean that old, nasty Village of Louisville sign had a lot of character. Kinda like that squeak in the stairs of your Grandparents house. A little irritating, but familiar, and sorta comforting. I don't travel much any more, but I remember seeing that sign returning from many trips and really feeling I was home. But..., I sure didn't mind when they put up the new water tower! Sleek, elegant, modern, beautiful! That old Baby-Poo colored toadstool of a water tower never really did much for our sky line, and I will be glad when ol' Dan Henry knocks it over and drags it to the land fill. Soooo, I guess our new sign, is gonna have an electronic message board of some kind! Just wait till Dee figures out how to run that from her desk! I can imagine.. "Uhh..Fred Smith, you are a little late with your water bill......" scrolling across the City Sign. :) So, be Nice to Dee! Anyways, this Sunday is gonna be a great and fun time, if you like Cool Cars, or you are into the Art Chicks thing, or you crave some of Randy Payne's Barbecue, (man that stuff is good) or just want to be where the action is, on this Last Hot Sunday in July!
