Louisville is having another Blood Drive coming March
30th, at the Louisville Senior Center. If you are at least 17 years old and
weigh at least 110 lbs, PLEASE give Heidi, (me), a call at 234-3170.
If you make an appointment for yourself and a first time donor, you will
receive a droplet buddy, (they are so cute)
Please make an appointment soon, as I am calling a lot
and they are filling up.
The time is 7:30 til 10:30 a.m. Saturday March 30th, this happens to also be
Biscuit and Gravy day at the Senior Center. I believe they serve from
7:00-10:00, and they are some good Biscuits!!!
So come on and call her, make an appointment, then make sure you get there
in time to eat before or after you donate.
Thanks so much for the support of all the past donors. You really do make a
BIG difference!
The Best Thing about this time of year, is of course
the upcoming Fire Station Fish Fry!
I mean to tell you, there are fish fry's,... and then there are FISH FRY's
and our gallant Louisville Volunteers are in my humble, and unavoidable
opinion the best of the best!
They batter up these filets that are light and sweet and just, delicious!
They serve 'em up pretty generous also, with all the fixin's. Mark your
calendars now, for Friday after next, March 22nd for the annual Fire Station
Fish Fry! Emm, Boy! They're Good!
Class of 1952 Reunion
The class of 1952 are getting ready to celebrate their 50th class reunion on
Sat., May 24 at the high school. We have been planning for the past year and
will have a get-to-gather at the Sr. Citizen Building during the afternoon
before the banquet and again after the banquet. We invite everyone to come
to see the old Class of 1952 and visit with them.

Bandwidth Blues
Folks, I am delighted to say that the days of the bandwidth desert south of
the Platte are numbered! For all of us that have fought with and endured the
terrible slow and unreliable Internet access that has been available in
Louisville, relief is finally on the way. I didn't want to say anything
until I was pretty darn sure, but it now appears like legitimate DSL, for
High Speed Internet Access is going to be a reality before the 4th of July!
Check Alltel's website Here: http://www.alltel.com/dsl/availability.html
(enter Nebraska)
Stay tuned and we can discus how well they execute on this promise!

What the Cat Saw...
Hi Hardware Cat Fans!
I really had a hard time sleeping last weekend, what
with the noisy weather that we had and with all the excitement going on down
at Steve Sherman's Louisville Art Gallery and all those artistic people
hangin around. They had a truck full of statues and paintings and stuff they
were unloading for this big exhibit Saturday!
Things sure are changing from when I used to just watch that pain shaker all
day. 'course we just had that article about us in the Plattsmouth Journal
talkin about how we are a community on the move and all that, and yesterday
I heard that the Lincoln Newspaper is writing another article on our
Community for this Sunday. I get to read a lot more newspapers since that ol'
Larry decided to save on Kitty Litter...
Having fun, and scratchin' the classifieds south of
the river....
