Volunteers Flush for
the City!
The City needs 20 volunteers to test
out of the Copper
Administrative Order for water.
The City needs 20 homes, built before 1983 that have
no water softener or filter system. Larry from People's Service would need
to get into the home and flush all the faucets in the home and then get back
in to take the actual water sample six hours later. The faucet closest to
the water meter has to be used and that faucet cannot be used during the six
hours between flushing and the taking the sample.
Those who are willing to participate should call City
Hall at 234-7605.
It is preferred that houses are used, but apartments
can be used if we cannot get 20 houses and Businesses can be used if we
cannot get 20 houses and apartments combined.
This test will need to be repeated in October if
passed in August in order to test out of this order.
The Copper being tested for is coming from the
plumbing inside the house and has nothing to do with the city water lines or
water.

Nunsense..
Today is the much anticipated opening night for the Lofte's
presentation of the play Nunsense.
The local scuttlebutt on this is that a prominent member of Louisville's
financial community has gotten into the habit of performing as of late, and
she, as well as her daughter will be appearing in this fun filled
Lofte Theatre production.
Don't miss this excellent and funny production.
More later on this!

Talented
Women March on Louisville
Say, did you happen to notice that the entire the entire City
was transformed in many magical, (dare I say whimsical), ways last Saturday?
No Alice, it was not the looking glass, it was non-other than Louisville's
very own Art Chicks hosting a
Talented Women's Art Fair coinciding with their 3rd anniversary Birthday
Bash.
When it was over, our exhausted Chicks said it was a complete
success!

Weeping Water Next
The Elves at WireBuilt Company have begun searching for someone in
the Weeping Water Area to help us begin the WeepingWaterNebraska.Com website
project on or about the beginning of October.
The hours are long, and the pay is low, (as in $0), but it represents an
opportunity to provide a voice and a meeting place for your entire Community
and become part of the project that will ultimately link all Cities and
Towns in Cass County. It is also fun and an exciting new frontier!
You need to be well integrated into the Weeping Water Community and have
basic computer skills, some writing skills and Internet access. We will
provide you all the training and special software that you need and be right
there to help you work through problems when they occur.
If you are interested, please send us an email at mailto:WeepingWaterWebmaster@WireBuilt.com
We won't let you fail!
