Missoula Children’s Theatre Auditions for ‘Rapunzel’ at Lofte Community Theatre

Ready or not, here they come! It’s time for the summer children’s theater event at the Lofte Community Theatre in Manley.

In cooperation with the Missoula Children’s Theatre, the Lofte will be holding auditions for this year’s production

of “Rapunzel." Rest assured, there are several parts available for both boys and girls. Auditions take place

at the Lofte on Monday morning, June 13 beginning at 10am. Please arrive by 9:45 to allow time for registration.

Children who will be entering first grade through the seventh grade are eligible. There are parts for approximately

60 children as well as opportunities for Assistant Directors and Light Booth operators. The cast list will be announced

at noon, immediately following the audition process. While not all actors are required for all rehearsal times,

all children should have a clear schedule June 13-18, 10am-2:30pm. There will be two public

performances on Saturday, June 18, 3pm & 6pm. Adult tickets are $10 and children are $8. Tickets are free for all

Lofte season ticket holders. This is an amazing experience for the kids and the

Lofte is proud to be able to host it. Special thanks goes out to Pinnacle Bank in Louisville

for their sponsorship. Those with questions may contact Anne Pope at LoftePR@Lofte.com

This is an open invitation to you, your children, or to your group's organization to be a part of this year's

FREEDOM FESTIVAL parade on July 4th in Murray! There is no cost to participate

NO pre-registration required, just show up and get in line!!

Drive your go-cart, antique tractor, motorcycle, new or classic car, or ride your new bike or even a unicycle.

If you want to walk on stilts as 'Uncle Sam', do cartwheels down the parade route,

show off your martial arts skills, or bring your uniformed baseball, softball

or soccer team, come on over to Murray and get in line for the parade.

Get your friends at youth or church group to help decorate a truck or flatbed, then pile on the float and get in line!

Parade line-up begins at 6 p.m. with emergency vehicles, (police, fire and rescue), starting at Railroad Avenue, south of Young street.

All other entries are to line up at the east parking lot of Conestoga Elementary School, 104 East High Street, Murray, NE.

From the school, entrants will go one block east, to the grain elevator, falling in behind the emergency vehicles, turning west on

Young Street and ending at Young Memorial Park.  The route is about 8-9 blocks long.

Any questions, please feel free to contact parade coordinator, Geo at  realgeo@gmail.com or 402 679 5879.
