Louisville Main Street is decorated with yellow ribbons, and patriotic
banners showing complete support for our brave brothers and sisters that
are serving in harms way in defense of Freedom.This special tribute was largely promoted by Lynn Smith of Berner Realty and Home State Bank. Always a hi-lite in the festival is always the Grand Parade which gets bigger and better every year.

You don't need to have 100,000 rose petals to
have a float.A vehicle, some balloons, your dog on a leash, or you on your bicycle with a kazoo can qualify. This years theme is "Over The Rainbow", so maybe Munchkins, or "the Lolipop Kids", a Tin Man or a wicked witch would work. Well, Good Ol' Larry and Maureen have stocked up the Mole-no-More and folks are in here buying seeds and chicken wire and rakes and all kinds of stuff like they do every year about this time. I heard some kids in here saying that they are going to be hunting for Eggs this Saturday, out at the School yard! Lots of colorful eggs they say.. Seems to me a Cat is better at finding eggs than a bunch of Kids are. I don't know why they never ask me for help. Probably 'cause I got no opposable thumbs. That thing again...
