December 12, 2002 Louisville Signs the Big Guy!Project Code Named; Jolly Old Elf succeeds! In a bold move, leveraging Louisville's honorable Showcase Community Award this year, local entrepreneur and tuna croissant chef Laura Osborne, pulled off a stunning coup by securing a special guest appearance by non other than..
Santa Claus!!!
..himself at her popular Soda Fountain this Saturday, December 14th from
1:00pm to 3:00pm!Clearly this time of year it is next to impossible to get the big guy even for a short phone interview, but Laura can be pretty persuasive and clearly it paid off. (Rumor has it that negotiations broke down briefly when Laura's friend Scott could not be found on Santa's Nice list, but it was apparently a clerical error.) As it turns out all the Louisville kids were listed on Santa's Nice list, and so special arrangements were made to see that each and every child that attends Santa's visit on Saturday will receive a special treat from Santa! Refreshments will be served and Laura welcomes everyone to stop in and see the new look at Blakes!

Computer John What the Cat Saw... Hi Hardware Cat Fans! That darn mouse.. Well, it seams that those Mole-no-More folks are always trying to tempt good old Larry and Maureen into selling their mole control stuff in far away places, and there-by get rich beyond their wildest dreams. That way Larry could even afford to buy razors again. Turns out the Mole-no-More franchise just opened up across the river in a far away land they call .. Springfield..! Now trouble is nobody knows nobody that far north and they have strange ways up there I hear. I hear they even have a Mouse for the city Website spokes-critter - Dang! What the dot com are they thinkin' of, I mean that's a rodent! Well, anyways they are trying to find a name for the critter, and everything is on hold till they decide on a name. Tha'ts fine, I hear it's COLD up north this time of year... Having fun, and Waiting for Santa south of the river....
