Attention Playground Banner Donors:
Due to the changing weather, the banners purchased to support the Elementary Playground Project are being taken down. If you are interested in keeping your business or family banner, they may be picked up at the Elementary School during parent teacher conferences: October 22 and 24 from 4:30-8pm. If you would like your banner and are unable to get it at that time, please contact Ann Kavanaugh at cannkava@gmail.com

STUDENT OF THE WEEK
Lauryn Kalkowski
LOUISVILLE HIGH SCHOOL
This week our Student of the Week Winner is Lauryn Kalkowski. She is a senior at Louisville High School. Her activities include Softball, Dance Team, Basketball, National Honor Society, Student Council, and the Louisville #BeKind Initiative. She is the daughter of Rod and Gretchen Kalkowski.
She was nominated for these reasons:
- She has been a driving force behind the #BeKind initiative
- She puts in a lot of extra hours and work
- She is a valued member of her extracirricular teams
- Because of her involvement our #BeKind movement is off to a great start

FREE PRENATAL CLASSES
A new session of the Sarpy/Cass Health Department’s prenatal education program, “Becoming a Mom”, begins on Thursday, November 1. The free classes on healthy pregnancy and newborn care are taught by experienced maternal and child health nurses. The program consists of six classes, and participants may attend any classes they choose. Topics include prenatal care and testing, pregnancy nutrition, stress, labor and delivery, newborn care and breastfeeding, and postpartum care.
