CITY COUNCIL

 

November 11, 2010                                                                                                    Louisville, NE

 

A special meeting of the City Council of the City of Louisville was held on Thursday, November 11, 2010, at 5:00 p.m. at the City Hall. Present were Mayor Alan Mueller, Council Members Roger Behrns and Clete Petrzilka. Bob Derby and Randy Jensen were absent. Mayor Mueller stated that the Open Meetings Act is posted at the rear of the room and a copy of all meeting materials is available with the clerk.

 

Notice of the special meeting was given in advance thereof by posting in three (3) public places as shown by the certificate attached to these minutes. Notice was simultaneously given to all council members. Their acknowledgement of receipt of notice and the agenda is attached to these minutes. All proceedings thereafter were taken while the convened meeting was open to the public.

 

Mayor Mueller called the meeting to order. Petrzilka moves, Behrns seconds to continue the meeting until 6:45 when a quorum can be present. Motion carried by unanimous roll call vote of those attending.

 

The continued meeting was called to order by Mayor Mueller at 6:45 p.m. Present were Mayor Mueller, Council Members Clete Petrzilka, Roger Behrns, Bob Derby and Randy Jensen.

 

Petrzilka moves, Jensen seconds to resume the special meeting at 6:45 p.m. Motion carried by unanimous roll call vote.

 

Derby moves, Petrzilka seconds to approve the minutes of the November 10, 2010 City Council meeting. Motion carried by unanimous roll call vote.

 

Petrzilka moves, Behrns seconds to approve the bid from AOI in the amount of $63,992.00 for Louisville Care Center water management improvements. Ayes: Petrzilka, Behrns, Jensen; abstain: Derby due to conflict of interest with subcontract work on the project. Motion carried.

 

Petrzilka moves, Jensen seconds to adjourn the meeting at 6:53 p.m. Motion carried by unanimous roll call vote.
