Louisville Daz Photo Report
May 25-26, 2001

The morning was beautiful and for the first time during last 25 years there was a flag on the one of the oldest buildings in town.

Fire Department has their vehicles lined up on the new and clean Main Street.

Come on in! There is a traditional Louisville Daz Pancake Feed at the Fire Hall

There is something special about Fire Department pancake feed - they are always wonderfully organized,
their food is HOT HOT HOT, their coffee is good and fresh,

sausage links are nicely grilled and servers take very good care of everybody with a smile  :)

And it is also wonderful feeling of festive morning, meeting people, and getting ready for the great events!

Meanwhile in Louisville City Park horse shoe players were warming up for the competition...

Special thanks to Linda Behrns who took care of these wonderful petunias -
One can often see her planting flowers, weeding, cleaning park flower beds along 2nd and 3d streets.

More horse shoe players register to enter the competition...

Craft show participants are getting ready, putting their stuff out.

By 10:30 Parade floats were lining up on the 1st street

Jeff is a Grand Marshall of the Parade this year!

Louisville Boy Scouts were also ready to march on the main street :)

Cute horse riders are ready too...

Kids are especially happy to participate - before the Parade there is a good chance to snack on those candy! :)

As a matter of fact, this year photo reporter was in the Wirebuilt float and was not able to take pictures of the parade as a whole event. Wirebuilt was celebrating 1 year anniversary of this web site opened for public during Louisville Daz 2000.
We'll do our best to keep up good work and continue to keep you up to date on what's going on in the community :)
