CITY OF LOUISVILLE

The Louisville Planning Commission meeting was held on June 2, 2003, 7:00 p.m. at the City Hall and called to order by Chairman Ronda Anderson. Members present were Del Stites, Candy McClun and Kathy Stohlmann. Jim Williams, Randy Jensen and Bill Nessen were absent. Also present were Mayor Dave Pankonin and City Supervisor Dan Henry.
Stohlmann moves, Stites seconds to approve the minutes of the May 5, 2003 meeting. Ayes – 4, nays – none. Motion carried.
There were no public hearings, old business or new business on the agenda. Ronda asked if there was anything any of the members wanted to discuss. Dave said that after the council meeting next week, the city would have a code enforcement officer as well as a humane officer to handle violations and the animal complaints. The city attorney is working on the nuisance ordinances to allow the code enforcement officer to work without council action. One of the first things to be addressed is going to be abandoned vehicles. The planning commission got a rundown on Louisville Daz. There was comment made that the number of people in town on a daily basis is astounding. The members also got an update of new businesses and potential businesses.
McClun moves, Stohlmann seconds to adjourn the meeting at 7:14 p.m. Ayes – 4, nays – none. Motion carried.
